Sherry Allen
Sherry’s love for music began when she was a toddler. At the age of 7 she started playing the piano and soon realized her love for singing. Her musical talent - specifically singing - comes from her father who gave her tips and encouragement.
Music has always been a source of comfort for Sherry, especially in the years since her cousin’s automobile accident that left him with a traumatic brain injury. Singing brings him comfort and she can often be heard making up silly songs with familiar tunes to lighten his spirits or to make him laugh. Music can be healing. Sherry’s faith in God and love of music go hand in hand.
Over the years Sherry could be heard singing at church, in contemporary quartets, at sports events (The National Anthem), weddings and other social functions.
