Wiley Beveridge
At the age eight in Houston, Texas, Wiley Beveridge began his musical journey with piano lessons. Subsequently, he learned to play the flute and, eventually, the guitar before heading off to college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
Like so many musicians, Wiley’s musical interests are intertwined with his spiritual path…through traditional Christianity, a sojourn into Buddhist meditation, the Unity movement, and eventually the world of chant. He has served as a church musician at Unity Center of Light (McKinney, Texas), Unity of Greater Portland (Maine), and Unity of Flagstaff (Arizona). More recently, Wiley provides music via Zoom at Sunday morning services for Unity of Blairsville (Georgia). He also produces a weekly video mediation with the Rev. Jesse James from Unity of Blairsville. Both services and video meditations are viewable on YouTube.
With a gift for weaving music and spiritual message, Wiley is now committed to singing “Music for the Way in,” inviting listeners to that sacred place we call “home.”
A prolific songwriter and performer in his own right, many of Wiley’s songs can be heard on his YouTube channel. Professional credits comprise recordings, as well as several album cuts, including some of the Don Gnecco songs. Click here FMI.
Wiley and his husband Robbie Bergman reside on the outskirts of Flagstaff, Arizona where they enjoy traveling in their RV, walking in the high desert beauty of Northern Arizona, enjoying their restful home and surroundings (with just enough wildlife), and the great occasion when friends can gather in the yard for a visit.
