Meet Don Gnecco
Don Gnecco is an award-winning songwriter whose inspirational and upbeat compositions have been performed at weddings, graduations, and in churches and schools. Currently, Don serves as a musician at Unity of Gainesville, in northeast Georgia, where many of his compositions have been performed.

Don's newest album, Memories of Christmas, was released on October 1, 2022 and features twelve Christmas songs performed by Lydie Koffi Omesiete, Sherry Allen, Deana Gurney, and Wiley Beveridge. A single-song CD, A Light in the Window, was recorded by Deana Gurney and released April 1, 2023.
A little history...
Over the years, Don has worked with several vocalists. Sherry Allen, who has performed many of the Don Gnecco songs, is the solo artist on three albums: Castles (1995), Sending Love at Christmas Time (2003), and Touch the World (2005).
In May of 2002, Don and Sherry traveled to Ireland where Sherry performed "Touch the World," one of the finalist songs in the Tipperary International Song of Peace Contest. In April 2006, they returned to Ireland again for the performance of "One Light," which was also a finalist song in the International Song of Peace Contest.
Lydie Koffi Omesiete is the primary vocalist for the Don Gnecco songs on an album entitled, What Next?, featuring some of Don's inspirational songs. The recording was released in September 2016 in a reception at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art at Piedmont University. In October 2018, Lydie and Don traveled to Ireland, where Lydie performed "Love Lifts Me Up High," a finalist song in the Tipperary International Song of Peace Contest. An album featuring twelve of Don's uplifting and inspirational songs, Lift Your Heart, featuring Lydie Koffi Omesiete, Sherry Allen, Deana Gurney, and Wiley Beveridge, was released on April 1, 2021.
